Yutaka WatanabeChief Operating Officer, SEZ Japan

Since joining SEZ in 2001, he has held several roles with increasing responsibility, including general manager, sales and marketing of SEZ Japan. While in this role, he successfully helped position SEZ as a technology leader in the highly competitive Japanese market. Prior to SEZ, Watanabe served as a general manager of a batch cleaning system division in Japan at FSI International, Inc., and also spent a few years working in the U.S. This was preceded by eight years at Memorex-Telex, a computer consumable and personal computer group of EDS GFS in Ireland, where he was responsible for purchasing, production control and marketing.
Watanabe earned a business administration degree from Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo, Japan, and brings more than 10 years of marketing and global business development experience in semiconductor surface-preparation and cleaning technologies.
