Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Group and member of the Group's Corporate Executive Board. He has been member of the Board of Directors since 1996.
Graduate of the Higher Technical College (HTL), Austria. Prior to the founding of SEZ in 1986, Egon Putzi spent three years at Infineon, Villach Austria (the former Siemens Bauelemente OHG) in a management position in the thin film technology sector and four years at austriamicrosystems, Graz, Austria as section manager for Process Engineering and Sustaining.
