SEZ’S CUSTOMER LABSSEZ is a truly global company that maintains an interchangeable R&D and support network with sites in key regions to meet customer needs wherever they arise. Our R&D and support network—centered on our world-class customer labs—is optimized for efficiency and offers demos, application development and testing, hardware simulation, new research developments and much more. SEZ maintains two fully active labs: one in Austria and the other in Taiwan—an equidistant location for all of the key markets (i.e., Japan, Korea, China and Singapore) in the Asia-Pacific region. With heightened resource commitment to enhance the support infrastructure, each lab has been optimized to focus on different activities to better centralize customer applications and research efforts. In Austria, the center is focused on driving new growth for SEZ involving hardware and software development as well as process development and critical data acquisition to enable future toolset development and adoption. As for Taiwan, one of SEZ’s emerging key customer regions in Asia Pacific, the lab is focused on customer support efforts spanning demos, applications development and system simulation.
